The Loveparade will remain true to its basic structure in 2007 as well. It is a party free of charge for all visitors where all contemporary currents in electronic music will be represented.


The Parade of the Trucks (Floats) is and will remain the heart of the event. Even more individual, shrill and colourful than in 2006 - that's the Loveparade 2007. The club culture- bearers are called, this year more than ever, to bring their creativity into the design of the floats. Like last year, the floats will represent a "Who's Who" of worldwide club culture this year as well.


The concluding event will, as usual, present the biggest names of the international DJ scene. Moreover, an even greater inclusion of live acts has been planned.

In 2007, too, the focus will be on the international music scene. The Loveparade brings people of all nations together, in peace, to a gigantic party.

The Loveparade 2006 was surely the most international and variegated of all parades! That's how we managed the leap into the complete spectrum of electronic dance music!

For the first time, Loveparade fans from all over the world were able, from 420 international applications, to select their favourite clubs DJs for 35 of a total of 40 floats (five floats remained reserved for the media partners). The result was completed by the casting votes of the float committee; the result was that the widest range of styles was represented on 15 July: House, Trance, Electro, Minimal, Drum 'n' Bass, Techno and many, many more!

Floats from 19 different nations took part altogether. The traditional parade of 40 Floats was accompanied by other innovative changes: 10 so-called Underground / Talent Floors (fixed installed stages) took the creative basis of modern dance music into account. Mobilee Recordes, Bash Records, the Harry Klein Club from Munich and many others were represented.

The musical programme - also new - was complemented by a live stage on which Mia, Soffy O., Lexy & K Paul and Noze and others rocked, and by a chill-out area which invited guests to relax. Of course there was the traditional concluding event by the Triumphal Column, which has always represented the climax of every Loveparade. The world's most renowned DJs of the moment put on records, alternating with newcomers. We looked forward to the stars of the scene such as Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Ricardo Villalobos & Luciano, Tiefschwarz, Tom Novy, Westbam, Ewan Pearson and the new faces of newcomers such as Felix Kröcher, Anja Schneider, Murphy, Lucca and the Turkish DJ Onur Özer.

With way over 1 million visitors, we were proud to proclaim: love is back!!! And, in 2007 as well, we will make it our aim to spray out a lot of love, in order to present an international, innovative and musically varied extra-class event to you and the many fans of the Loveparade all over the world. This will include everything that electronic dance music has to offer. You can look forward to it with keen anticipation.
