In terms of Jamaican music, Desmond Dekker truly deserves the title superstar. Unfortunately Dekker himself passed away last year, but his music will never die and is brought to the audience at Carib Music Fest in Stavanger this very summer by his band The Aces and exclusive special guests. Artists include Desrene Dekker, Errol Dunkley, Stanley Beckford, George Dekker, Owen Gray and Delroy Williams. They play Desmond Dekkers’ well known and everlasting hits, including “Israelites” and “007 (Shanty Town)”. Be prepared to groove and swing and sing along!
